Before you go and challenge another player's character for whatever reason you MUST read these rules. We want to keep this RP fair and simple. Read through these carefully.
+ Only Secretariat or Eden can determine the winner of a fight.
+ All battles must be IC.
+ Challenges can be for just about anything relevant to the horse world: a stallion attempting to overthrow another stallion and claim their territory and herd, a stallion attempting to steal a single mare from another stallion, etc.
+ It must be clear who is challenging who, and for what. To keep things simple, the first post of a challenge should look something like this, at minimum:
Example: Jasiri challenges Whirlwind for his land and herd.
+ Once the challengers opponent responds, terms and conditions can be set, though they are not required. The terms of a fight is what each gets if they are to win. Don't make your terms too extreme. An example would be something like this:
Jasiri speaking to Whirlwind: "If I am the victor of this battle, then I get dibs on all those living in the territory and Whirling Mountain Meadow is mine to lead. If I win then you Whirlwind are banished from the territory and will be killed if you return."
Then Whirlwind can respond with something like this: "And if I am to win I get to keep my land and all those living within. You cannot challenge me again and are henceforth banished from Whirling Mountain Meadow."
+ Once terms are set and both agree then the battle begins. NO POWERPLAYING when in battle. You cannot automatically kill your opponent, and you cannot determine how exactly the opponent is hurt. In regards to that your horse is not invincible and can get hurt. Keep it fair and in order. Battle sequences can be something like this:
With both stallions in agreement to the terms, Jasiri smirked. The real battle has begun. Tensing the zebra made the first move. Charging the larger Arab, Jasiri reared and let his front hooves fly, hoping to land a decent blow to his opponent's neck or chest. Falling back to all fours, the zebra retreated and looked to see what kind of damage he caused.
And Whirlwind's response: The Arab stallion had not been expecting such a quick strike from his little challenger. Rearing back as the zebra gave the first attack, Whirlwind managed to avoid most of the blows, but he felt one land and slash low on his neck, where a bit of blood began to well. As his challenger began to retreat from his attack, the pale grey stallion gave chase, biting sharply at the zebra's hindquarters.
And so on.
+ There is a 10 day posting deadline for each post. If you do not post within 10 days after the other member's post, your post will be deemed invalid and the other member automatically wins the fight.
Got the idea? Remember that only Secretariat or I can decide the out come of a battle. Failure to follow any of these rules little win an automatic win to your opponent! If you have any questions about the rules of a battle PM Secretariat or myself. Good Luck!
